Description

After Easter, the Lord Jesus said to the disciples: “And now I will send the Holy Spirit, just as my Father promised. But stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven. (Luke 24:29)”.  How can we receive from the Father anew the Holy Spirit who is the Father’s gift to us?  How do we wait? Who can help us to prepare to receive this precious gift that empowers us to live each day with peace and joy and freedom that nothing in the world can give us? And when we have received the Father’s gift, how do we allow it to transform us into a gift for others?  This nine-day retreat will prepare you for Pentecost and help you understand how to cultivate the gifts of the spirit in you so that your life will be a living expression of the fruitfulness of the Spirit and in turn the Father’s gift to the world.

On Saturday, May 23rd you will receive an email welcoming you to the retreat. We will provide you with materials for personal reflection each following day and suggest ways you could build into your day according to your own peculiar circumstances practices that will foster the spirit of the retreat.  Each day of the retreat, you will receive an email with a link to our website where you’ll find the resources for the day’s reflection (audio and text, as well as video on some days) along with short texts for prayer. These will offer you inspirations for the journey towards Pentecost, dispose you to receive the Father’s gift anew and empower you to live the new life of Easter to the full. You will continue to have access to these resources up to a week after the retreat. This will allow you to go over again aspects of the retreat that you would like to draw out more from.

During this retreat, we would be offering a number of Individually Guided Sessions (IGS) through Zoom for a very affordable fee. Small-Group Sessions are also available.  If you would like to request one of these options, please email or go to Additional Information in the payment section and leave details.  We will contact you.
